A bit of history
La empresa Crawford Keen & Company, originally from the U.S.—hence the acronym CKC—established itself in Argentina in 1970, the same year that the sustained development of soybean cultivation began.
CKC was a leader at the time for introducing Hood, Hood-75, Forrest, Essex, Williams, Agripro, and Stuart soybean seeds to the agricultural market. Inoculators are also included with the seeds. CKC pioneered the commercialization in Argentina of this category of nitrogen-fixing bacteria, specifically the *Rhizobium* sp. and *Bradyrhizobium* sp. species.
